North Head Classic Sea Swim

Devonport Swim Club has succesfully revived this popular community swim event,
originally conceived and run for a number of years by the Williamson brothers.
The 2010 swim will take place at 10am on November 7th
2010 and will go from the
beach at Windsor Reserve to Cheltenham (a distance of 2.5km)

The Cheltenham Challenge is a 2km Swim (the annual Cheltenham Sea Swim) and/or
a 5km Run event, organised by the Devonport Swim Club.
The Cheltenham Challenge demands the skill and fitness needed for a 2km coastal ocean swim, and/or the strength and tenacity needed to conquer a 5km run, up, through, and over Devonport’s North Head, landmark harbour entrance to Auckland.
The Cheltenham Challenge offers a range of options, including Swim
Only (the traditional annual Cheltenham Sea Swim), Swim / Run
for Individuals, Swim / Run for Teams, and a Run
Only option.
