2010 Cheltenham Challenge
Saturday March 27th 2010
What a great Saturday morning it turned out to be. Very little wind, fine and pleasant conditions for the inaugural Swim / Run event.
The water temperature was just right, the sea conditions were oily-smooth, with only a slightly-challenging outgoing tide to deal with. There was also very litte windage for the runners tackling the steep but scenic slopes of North Head.
We had a great time bringing this event to you, made possible with the great support of our sponsors Balance Sports Nutrition, SwimGear.com and the many donors of spot prizes on the day.
And a big thank you to all of our volunteers who gave their precious time on Saturday.
So thank you all again for making the first Cheltenham Challenge a success, and we look forward to seeing again next year.
